Art and Artists on the Peninsula

There is a thriving artists community on the Shotley Peninsula, you will find painters, basket weavers and potters, both professional and amateur.

At Pin Mill there is a permanent gallery offering numerous exhibitions throughout the year. Exhibitions are also occasionally held at The Suffolk Food Hall and Harkstead Village Hall. In addition, artists who are members of Suffolk Open Studios, open their studios for several weekends in June each year.

Several artists offer tuition, including Deborah Baynes with her residential pottery courses.
