The are no opticians offering eye examinations on the peninsula, there is however a mobile spectacle dispensing service. Status Eyewear offer a broad range of frames, covering both the budget and mid to upper price ranges. They supply all types of lenses including bi-focals and varifocals. There is no extra charge for visiting, in fact their prices are comparable to the internet spectacle suppliers, with the added advantages of being able to try on the specs and be properly measured.
Reflexology
Jane Goyder, based in Harkstead, offers a visiting reflexology service anywhere on the Peninsula. She is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, and believes strongly in the ability of reflexology to deliver relief and act beneficially over many different symptoms and conditions. She has worked with clients across a wide range of age and conditions, including migraine, brain injury, irritable bowel syndrome, sleep disorders, asthma, muscular pain. By experience Jane has learnt that while each case is different, all can benefit from the deep relaxation and lowering of stress levels that reflexology brings.
